Deciding to have a procedure like the Lifestyle Lift® after Rhinoplasty means, first, that you must be completely healed; and any good surgeon will tell you to wait a few months – perhaps even a year – before you have another cosmetic procedure, no matter how minimally invasive.
The Lifestyle Lift® always begins with an in-depth consultation with our doctors – and they will be able to tell you very quickly if, in your particular case, The Lifestyle Lift® facial firming procedure will have the desired effects after your other surgery. This consultation also establishes a firm relationship between doctor and patient, and helps set expectations right.
Unlike your Rhinoplasty, which was probably performed under general anesthesia, The Lifestyle Lift® uses only local anesthesia – you can actually be awake and fully aware while the procedure is being performed. This makes the entire process much safer. The Lifestyle Lift® is especially effective to smooth out wrinkles around the forehead, eyes and mouth; and for loose skin in the neck area. Combined with the effects of the nose surgery, you may take years off your face, and look the best for your age.
Your safety is uttermost on the minds of the physicians at Lifestyle Lift® and so a physician will examine you carefully, answer all your queries, ally all your fears and determine whether you have the correct frame of mind for the procedure before you make any commitment.

Cosmetic surgery is increasingly common these days, with many different procedures and treatments available. But this abundance of options has led to a new set of problems as well. It is now not uncommon to find people who have had cosmetic procedures performed on one part of the face, only to discover the now ‘perfect’ part does not sit well with the rest!
A ‘nose job’ or a Rhinoplasty is typically performed to improve the function or the contours of the nose. If you’ve recently had one, and have been satisfied with the results, you might then want to look for other procedures that help address the wrinkles and lines around the mouth and eyes, and loose skin in the neck region perhaps.
The Lifestyle Lift® has received much attention for its minimally invasive technique, and extremely natural-looking results. As a facial firming procedure, it is simple, performed in about an hour on ideal candidates, only under local anesthesia.

After the age of 40, the first signs of aging begin to visibly manifest themselves on our skin, particularly on our face. We begin developing fine wrinkles around the eyes and mouth and there is laxity of the skin in the lower half of the face and neck region. If your skin does not reflect your positive, confident spirit, then there is nothing like a little face firming to bring back that youthful look.
In about an hour (typical time taken for The Lifestyle Lift® procedure on ideal candidates) The Lifestyle Lift® procedure can take away years from your face, making your skin look fresher and younger. Each patient is individually assessed and the procedure is customized to suit the person’s requirement.
Aging Process
The aging process actually begins in the mid 20’s itself. The production of collagen and elastin declines and this prevents the skin from having that youthful ‘spring’, and repairing itself fast enough. It is here that The Lifestyle Lift® has brought an alternative to thousands of men and women.
At Lifestyle Lift® your health and safety is of foremost importance and so the doctors will work out a procedure plan that is best suited for your age and particular condition. In some cases a follow up procedure is also recommended, so that you get the best possible results.

Few working people have the time to extract themselves for weeks together and stay cooped up to recover from a traditional facelift procedure. Treatments like Botox offer immediate and visible results – but they are temporary, almost ephemeral. In four to six months, the wrinkles are back and it is time for another shot. Repeated applications of Botox can also result in the much-discussed ‘frozen face’ effect.
The Lifestyle Lift® does not claim to offer the same effect as a traditional facelift – but what it can do is give you a very natural, refreshed appearance, without any of the ‘pulled’ or ‘stretched’ artificiality that is sometimes visible after a more traditional surgery. The Lifestyle Lift’s® further advantages of minimal downtime and lower costs make it a sound choice for working professionals that want to look the best for their age.

The Lifestyle Lift® is a short procedure – taking typically an hour to perform on ideal candidates. The Lifestyle Lift® uses only local anesthesia, so there are no fears of adverse reactions with general anesthesia, and the after-effects. Ideal candidates find that they could be back at work in as little as a week after the procedure. Scarring is also minimal, as the Lifestyle Lift® is minimally invasive and only makes tiny incisions in the natural creases of the facial region.
It can seem unfair, but how you look at work could well determine whether you get that promotion or are passed on for someone junior. Managers usually are less likely to promote an older looking person; for fear that they lack the energy to see the task through. Thus, even though you might be feeling enthusiastic and young, the lines on your face could well betray you.
Sure, there are other procedures that promise to help as well – there are traditional facelifts, Botox, Restylane, Thermage, Juvederm – the list goes on. So what makes The Lifestyle Lift® a good option?

Today, a lot of companies have a young workforce, and like to keep things that way. Thus even those in their mid-forties can sometimes feel old, not because they find their spirits and enthusiasm flagging, but due to those fine lines around the eyes, mouth, or forehead.
Age and experience are definitely valued in the workplace – they are labels that denote someone who has ‘been there, done that’. But with workforces getting younger and more dynamic, those signs of aging that we all dislike can mean we are excluded from certain activities, and treated differently. For some, there might be nothing wrong with this change in status, as it were, but for those of us that want to relate better with younger people at work, and feel included in their world, it might become important to deal with those same signs of aging – ‘crow’s feet’, jowls, etc.
If those unwanted wrinkles and laughter lines are making you feel old, then the facial firming procedure from Lifestyle Lift® could be just the thing for you…

Beyond just weight benefits
Can bariatric surgery deliver benefits beyond just reducing weight? Experts at the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) believe that bariatric surgery can help in reducing diabetes, especially as diabetes and obesity are intimately connected. The relationship between weight and diabetes can be seen from the fact that almost 90 percent of people newly diagnosed with diabetes are overweight or obese, according to the American Diabetes Association.
So the obvious conclusion is that weight loss surgery can help in reducing diabetes. This is proven by more than 30 studies conducted by the ASMBS. A study in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) found that 73 percent of people with diabetes who underwent gastric banding combined with conventional therapy achieved remission, which is defined as normal blood sugar levels with no need for diabetes medication. Another 2004 study by JAMA of more than 22,000 people who underwent bariatric surgery showed that Type 2 diabetes was completely resolved in 76.8 percent of people, and it improved in 86 percent of people. So effective have been the techniques that experts believe that it is much more cost-effective to treat diabetes with weight loss surgery than with conventional medical therapy.
In conclusion, bariatric surgery has been proven successful in producing considerable weight loss. While this surgery can never be a substitute for proper diet and exercise, individuals can consider this option after carefully evaluating operative risks and possible side effects.
